These pages develop or illustrate ideas the main reading order introduces. They are gathered here so the primary path stays uncluttered while none of the material is lost. The first group circles a single structural claim — the one-way fold; the second collects standalone deeper reads.

The one-way fold, told several ways

A persisting process folds its own history into its present form and steps forward, and that fold opens only one way — the result can be read forward, but the producing order cannot be run back out of it. One page states the claim; the others illustrate it.

Conjectures and hypotheses — under test, not canon

These pages are claims under test, not settled framework. They are drawn in a deliberately different register from everything else on this page: each rests on canon but reaches past it, and none may be cited as a dependency. Read them as live questions, marked so.

• Conjecture · under test Oscillation from Self-Reference

  A small structural conjecture: that self-reference (T0-M) turns a one-shot transform into an oscillation — the cycling is what self-reference does to a transform. Disciplined by ASP, which warns that oscillation observed is never itself evidence of the structure. States nothing about any physical system.

• Hypothesis · under test The Endogenous Selection Hypothesis

  That what evolutionary theory calls the external fitness function is the from-outside-the-basin appearance of internal recursive compression — the α-trace made readable. The companion claim the oscillation conjecture rides on; itself a claim under test, and explicitly not a dependency anchor.
